One year ago...

One year ago today I peed on a stick and saw this...

It was such an exciting, scary, happy, nervous, crazy moment! We both just kind of stared at each other for a few minutes then Ian finally said "We're crazy, but I'm excited!" 

It has been an amazing year and we are so glad to have this little angel in ours lives!

Wedding Bells

Delaney attended to her first wedding on Saturday!! A good friend of mine from high school, who is now also a coworker got married! It was one of the best weddings I have ever been to and Delaney did amazing! She was a happy baby the whole time, she only cried for about 5 minutes while she was falling asleep but it was during the reception so no one even heard her. She danced, laughed, played and just had a good ole' time! It was nice to spend time with my coworkers outside of work too! Unfortunately, Ian wasn't able to come but my boss Lauren and her husband Mike were such a great help carrying the diaper bag, holding D for me and giving us a ride so I didn't have to drive out there alone. Thanks Lauren and Mike!! 

The wedding was beautiful and so much fun! Congratulations Jaimie and Kyle!!

Sleeping Beauty

My little princess is a Sleeping Beauty!

Well I may be a little  biased but I just think she is so beautiful when she sleeps (actually all the time!). She has this sweet, peaceful demeanor about her and it just so nice to cuddle with her when she is sleeping.

She's a pretty good sleeper. Her typical  schedule is down for the night between 7:30-8:30 then she wakes at 1, 4, and 6 to nurse and will get up for the day anywhere between 7:30-8:30. In the morning she's up for an hour then takes about an hour long nap. During the day she has a few 37 minute catnaps and usually one two hour nap in the afternoon. Of course this is her typical schedule, sometimes (like last night) she wakes up to nurse at 9:30, 10:30, 12, 2, 430, 6, 7 and up at 9:30. At least when she wakes in the middle of the night she nurses for 5-10 minutes then falls right back to sleep. Very occasionally she will decide 2am is party time! No matter when she wakes or how often she wants to nurse I still enjoy that special time I have with her!

Before D was born we bought her a couple pair of sunglasses. They are just starting to fit and I think she is a-freaking-dorable in them!!

Delaney: 0-3 Months

This will normally be a monthly post but since I just started the blog I will get it up to date all at once! So here is Delaney's first three months in pictures and little notes of things she did each month! Enjoy!

New toy!

Today we set up Delaney's new toy! It's a Baby Einstein jumper that spins, bounces, plays music, lights up and teaches shapes/colors. According to Daddy we didn't need it "because D already has five play apparatuses", but really this is only  number four andplusalso she is about to outgrow her swing. So there! Anyway, she loves it and so do I! It's so fun to watch her play and explore, even though I am a little  sad that she's old enough for this big girl toy.
